Did you know...
-
As well as being a registered charity, Social Care in Action is a group of charitable social enterprises that reinvests back into services to ensure that local communities get the important support they need.
-
Social Care in Action supports over 95,000 individuals across Southern England each year.
-
Having begun in 1991 as an organisation that concentrated on the delivery of care services, Social Care in Action now delivers a wide range of services from care, transport, dentistry, training and counselling services.
-
Social Care in Action is always trying to keep up with the latest technology to complement our service delivery. We are currently raising funds towards the purchase of bespoke Virtual Reality equipment for the individuals with dementia who use our services.
What makes Social Care in Action different
We offer a full range of high-quality, bespoke services which help to improve individual lives. Our vision is to support individuals within local communities to lead the lives they want in the way they want.
Our success has been in taking an innovative approach to merging and bringing other local social enterprises together to ensure that the people in our communities are provided with services to meet their needs.
Social Care in Action recognise that having a good life is about more than good support. People are asking to access new opportunities, participate in the community, and achieve their hopes and dreams. Everyone we support is unique and we are expanding our range of services to meet changes in expectations.
