• Ronald McDonald House Charities provides free “home away from home" accommodation, to keep families close when they have seriously ill children in hospital.

• There are currently 14 Ronald McDonald Houses in the UK.

• It costs £25 per night to accommodate a family in one of our bedrooms.

• In 2017, we were proud to keep over 8,000 families together in our Houses.

What makes Ronald McDonald House Charities different

We are the UK’s leading provider of free family accommodation at specialised children’s hospitals.

Thanks to the location of our Houses, families are safe in the knowledge that they can be by their child’s bedside in a matter of moments, whilst maintaining a degree of normal life. The staff are also on hand to offer support when needed, such as a listening ear or a chat over a cup of tea.

Other ways to support

As well as supporting through donations there are lots of ways you can help. Volunteering at one of our Houses with cooking or baking can help make them more homely for the families. Or sign up one of our challenge or specialist events and encourage your friends and colleagues to sign up too.
