North London Hospice is a multi-faith hospice striving to provide the highest quality palliative and end of life care and support for patients and their loved ones living with a life limiting illness. This not only includes inpatient services but also providing health and wellbeing therapies and care in the communities of Barnet, Haringey and Enfield.
The charity is also the only hospice in North London who serve terminally ill adults in these boroughs, both within a clinical environment and in a patient's own home if that is their wish. This means their service is absolutely paramount.
Their greatest achievement this year has been securing funding for its Sustainability and Transformation Plans (STP) until 2021. This funding and unit has allowed North London Hospice to double their community nurse team and therefore increase their outreach to further parts of the community.
