NCT

NCT is the national charity for pregnancy, birth and early life with a baby. We support people as they become parents. Our vision is that everyone who becomes a parent feels confident, connected, and safe.

We provide practical and emotional support to pregnant women and new families across the UK: delivering 3,000 Baby Bundle essential care items (like nappies) to those in need, selling 200,000 affordable baby items at 99 NCT Nearly New Sales; and operating our free-to-access NCT Infant Feeding Line (0300 330 0700) available 8am-midnight every day. We have expanded our free services with trusted partners, and worked with local food banks, baby banks, and other services to offer further help. And millions of people access our free online Pregnancy and Parent Hub for evidence-based information about pregnancy, birth and life as a new parent.

Nearly one in three new parents experience loneliness. In response to this growing need for connection, last year 3,000 incredible NCT volunteers organised nearly 7,000 community events reaching 95,000 parents, all across the UK. Through these events, we create opportunities for parents to build supportive communities—helping to combat isolation and foster a sense of belonging.
