It was established over 40 years ago, and every year it helps thousands of patients and their families to tackle everyday life. It also provides patients with the practical, emotional and financial help they might need, when they need it. As well as this, Kidney Care UK also funds patient research projects and aims to improve care services for patients.

Last year, Kidney Care UK committed £2million to improve health and care services for patients with kidney failure. On top of the vital support it gives to patients and their families, it also provides life-changing financial support to over a hundred patients every month, and supports more than a thousand patients with counselling or advocacy advice every year. Their direct patient services are what make Kidney Care UK stand out. It is also committed to improving life for kidney patients and their families, from those who have only recently discovered they have a kidney condition, to those that have been dealing with kidney disease for many years. Kidney Care UK gives their total support to making life easier for kidney patients.
