About Cavendish Cancer Care

Cavendish Cancer Care is a Sheffield-based charity dedicated to improving the quality of life for people living with cancer in South Yorkshire, North Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. It provides emotional and physical support to local people and their families when they need it most.

The charity believes no one should face cancer alone, so it provides emotional and physical support through counselling and complementary therapies. Its services are provided free of charge and instead relies on the donations from supporters and help from volunteers to continue our work.

Did you know that Cavendish Cancer Care has been helping people affected by cancer for over 30 years? The charity offers support to people with a cancer diagnosis, alongside those who are recovering from cancer and those living with cancer. It also supports family members or carers of people that have been affected by cancer.

Cavendish Cancer Care offers a wide range of support and services, including the following:

• Online support including courses and classes and virtual support groups
• In-person group sessions at our Tim Pryor Centre
• 1-2-1 Counselling and Complementary Therapies at our dedicated centre.
• Complementary therapies on selected hospital wards funded via NHS charities.
• Specialist services for Children and Young People including counselling, play therapy and art therapy.
