Askhaya Patra Foundation UK is the world’s largest of Free School Meals provider founded by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada after seeing a group of starving children in Mayapur, India. Since then, the foundation started its mid-day programme in June 2000 and first started providing free mid-day meals to 1,500 children across five government schools in India.
