At Savoo
Emily has worked in the money saving industry for three years, but has been a saver all her life! Some of her earliest memories were days out with her family: musicals, ballet, and the yearly Christmas pantomime.
Now with a family of her own it is her task to find fun and affordable days out, and she loves nothing more than creating those same amazing memories for her son and nephew. Now her son is older she has nearly a decade of hunting for affordable days out for kids: from kids go free deals to cheap family passes to popular tourist attractions. Have a read of Emily's articles below to discover saving secrets for UK attractions like Legoland, Hollywood Bowl and GoApe, and even cheap Disneyland tickets!

Emily's top tips for finding affordable kids days out
Museum passes can be a great option for repeat days out with just one spend, as well as providing a back-up option for rainy days when the park is a no-go! Look for a multiple-entry ticket, meaning you can pay once and then go as many times as you want. Travelling exhibitions or interactive activities stop your day out from becoming repetitive, as does the opportunity for grandparents to accompany your kids on a concessions ticket. Check the website for any workshops being run during your visit as you can get a good 30 minutes to an hour of free entertainment in creative kids' workshops, talks, and tours.
Living outside of London means Emily is always making the most of gigs and opportunities outside of the capital city. When she's not hunting for family-friendly days out she's looking for affordable ways to get out with friends.
I notice the price differences when I visit the Savoo office in London, versus at home. That's why I'll always try to see my favourite bands in venues outside the capital city. I've signed up to the newsletters of my local venues and wait until the tour comes my way to save some serious cash, not only on tickets but on drinks and transport!
With a love of live music, she has a large upcoming events calendar which she attributes to both the Ticketek newsletter and O2 Priority presale. She's scored plenty of free live audience seats this way, and was able to get on the cheapest ticket tier to see Usher — saving just under £50 per ticket!

I have Sky broadband, and with that I receive two free tickets for Vue cinema every month. Combining this with a kids eat free offer in a nearby chain like Pizza Hut or Frankie & Bennys means the whole afternoon is really easy on the wallet!
See if any of your monthly subscriptions like your phone bill, broadband or gym membership come with additional perks. Often these will only be available for new members or if you upgrade your package, so be sure to get in touch with the customer services team to see what they can do for you.
