About Savoo and How We Source and Verify Discount Codes
Savoo is a UK money-saving and online fundraising website that helps shoppers find discount codes, deals and sales from more than 2,500 retailers, including John Lewis, Argos, New Look and TUI.
Savoo was founded in London in 2009 and is part of Centerfield. Its US sister site is Savings.com. Savoo also operates websites for shoppers in Germany, France, Australia and Canada.
At any one time, Savoo lists more than 20,000 discount codes and deals, including exclusive offers sourced through our retailer partnerships. All offers are free to use, and shoppers do not need to register or provide personal details to reveal a code or access a deal.

How Savoo sources discount codes directly from retailers
Savoo’s partnerships team works directly with hundreds of retailers and affiliate networks to source voucher codes, deals, sales and exclusive offers. These relationships allow us to receive offer details and terms directly from the retailer or the affiliate network managing the partnership.
The team is led by Yasmeen Lubbock and John Connellan, who have more than 22 years of combined experience in the UK voucher code industry.
Offers received through retailer and affiliate partnerships are still reviewed by Savoo’s verification process before publication. Exclusive and partner-sourced offers are not automatically selected as Top Picks.
How Savoo’s deal experts find other offers
In addition to the offers received through retailer and affiliate partnerships, Savoo’s deal experts search retailer websites and other publicly available sources for current voucher codes, deals and sales.
Offers found through this research are checked through Savoo’s verification process before they are published. Savoo does not accept user-submitted discount codes; the offers on our site are sourced by our team or received through retailer and affiliate partnerships.
How Savoo verifies discount codes and deals
Before publishing an offer, Savoo checks its source, the advertised saving, any eligibility conditions and the available expiry information. Discount codes are manually tested on the retailer’s website, where possible. Sales and deals that do not require a code are checked against the offer available on the retailer’s website.
After publication, Savoo monitors expiry information and shopper feedback and regularly rechecks offers. If a shopper thumbs down an offer, our team receives an alert and reviews it. Offers that are no longer valid are updated or removed.

What does Savoo’s “Verified” label mean?
When a discount code displays Savoo’s blue Verified label, it means the code has been checked through the verification process described above. This includes confirming the offer details and, where possible, manually testing the code on the retailer’s website.
The time displayed alongside the label shows how long ago the code was last checked. It is updated following a new verification check, rather than simply when the retailer page is refreshed.
Our team reviews each retailer’s page regularly. During these reviews, they generally check all the current codes and deals on the page, which is why several offers may display the same verification time. An individual offer may show a different time if it was added or rechecked separately.
What is the Savoo Code Promise?
The Savoo Code Promise applies to eligible discount codes that display the Code Promise badge. If an eligible code does not work even though your order meets its terms, registered Savoo members can submit a claim within 24 hours of completing their purchase.

How does Savoo choose its Top Picks?
For each retailer, the Savoo team reviews current voucher codes, sales, and other offers, and selects the strongest and most useful as Savoo’s Top Picks.
We consider the value of the saving, how widely the offer can be used, its popularity among Savoo shoppers and how recently it was verified. Where relevant, we also consider seasonality and whether an offer applies to the retailer’s key products or current bestsellers.
Exclusive deals and codes are assessed using the same criteria and are not selected solely because they are exclusive. We update our Top Picks when stronger or more relevant offers become available, or when existing offers expire.
How Savoo makes money
When you visit a retailer through Savoo and make a qualifying purchase, Savoo may receive a commission from the retailer or its affiliate network. This does not increase the price you pay. Some clicks and purchases do not generate a commission.
If you have selected a charity and your purchase qualifies for a donation, Savoo gives up to 50% of the commission it receives to your chosen charity. Donation rates and eligibility vary between retailers. Find out more about how Savoo’s charity donations work.
Some retail partners also pay an advertising fee for additional visibility on Savoo. Commercial arrangements do not affect whether an offer is verified. Savoo’s Top Picks are selected using the criteria explained in our Top Picks methodology.
How to use Savoo discount codes and deals
Find the retailer you want to shop with and review the available voucher codes, deals and sales.
Offers that require a voucher code display a Copy Code option. Copy the code, visit the retailer’s website and add the qualifying products to your basket. Enter the code in the appropriate box at checkout to apply the discount.
Offers that do not require a code display a Get Deal button. Select Get Deal to visit the relevant sale or offer page on the retailer’s website.
When you visit a retailer through Savoo, affiliate tracking may be used to record the referral. If you make a purchase, Savoo may receive a commission from the retailer at no additional cost to you. You can learn more in the section explaining how Savoo makes money.

How Savoo researches and publishes money-saving advice
After offers have been sourced and verified, Savoo’s money-saving editorial team publishes them on the relevant retailer pages. The team also researches and maintains supporting information, including retailer-specific saving methods, how-to guides and practical advice for using available discounts.
The team is led by Matt Jones, who has worked in the voucher code sector for over a decade, finding and publishing deals and producing money-saving content. Ryan Broadfoot, Savoo’s SEO and Content Management Lead and Technology Editor, also has over a decade of experience in the voucher code sector, finding discounts and producing money-saving content for major retailers.
Our retailer pages are regularly reviewed and updated so that the advice reflects the current ways shoppers can save with each brand.

Yes. Savoo.co.uk is operated by Savoo Limited, an active private company registered in England and Wales under company number 7035007. The company was incorporated on 30 September 2009, and Savoo has been publishing discount codes and deals for UK shoppers since 2009.
